Forgot to mention, and show, the original case that the Hudson Pratten was in. Unusual in itself, never seen one quite like it.

    Hi Mr.Hamilton,
    unique box for that old Hudson flute, but I saw similar by your colleague Mr. Glenn Watson, Irish too.
    It is a nice design and nowhere available without a new Watson flute unfortunately. I did ask him about.
    Excellent flutemakers should have skilled box carpenters at their sides and these boxes should be affordable for all kind of fluters to guard their beloved. A pistolbox is suitable, but a flute is not a murder instrument.
